When you leave your Florida home, whether for an extended vacation or if you’re a snowbird going back home for a few months, you no longer need to worry about asking a neighbor or friend to check on your home. Culver Realty & Property Management offers a service called “Home Away”. This service can be tailored for your specific needs while you’re out of town and include more or less frequent visits than our standard plan.
Our Standard Plan includes 2 inspections each month while you’re away. During each visit, we will change any lights that are being left on continuously, check lights that are on a timer to be sure they are functioning properly, flush all toilets, run all faucets and make a complete visual inspection of your property, inside and outside, to make sure there aren’t any problems while you are away. We will take a few photos and send you a written inspection report that will detail the date and time we inspected and any abnormalities or areas of concern we may have noticed. This service can be customized to your specific needs and is available in Volusia & Flagler Counties. Check with your insurance provider to see if this may qualify you for savings on your insurance policy for a part-time residence.
